Glendale sponsors Capel Manor College’s award ceremony

July 2015 saw deserving apprentices at Capel Manor College recognised for their hard work and skills at the college’s annual award ceremony. 

Glendale sponsored the Best Trees and Timber Apprentice Award which went to Adam Kerle from Ashmore Arboricultural Services Ltd. 
 
Adrian Wickham, South East regional director for Glendale, said: “We are delighted to have been sponsoring the Capel Manor College awards for five years now.  It’s vital that talented young arborists and horticulturists continue to join the industry and as a major employer of both, it is important that we, as a company, provide as much support, encouragement and recognition of their skills and talent as possible.  Congratulations to all of the winners for their fantastic achievements this year.”
 
In a statement from Capel Manor College, Derek McFarland, deputy head of arboriculture and countryside and apprenticeship programme manager, comments: “We would like to congratulate each winner for their achievement, it is proof of their individual ability to apply their knowledge and training received at Capel Manor in the ever-changing world of Arboriculture.  We would also like to give our heartfelt thanks to the sponsors of these awards, their generosity and support gives recognition and credibility to the next generation of arborists and foresters. 
 
“Many thanks to Glendale for sponsoring the Glendale Award for Best Trees and Timber Apprentice again this year.  The award was presented to Adam Kerle, a young man who is an excellent arborist and is continuing his training with us by enrolling on his Level 3 advanced apprenticeship.” 
 
Glendale also sponsored the award for Best Horticulture Apprentice which went to Joshua Adams.
