Glendale makes the cut in Lincolnshire

National green service provider Glendale has begun work on a new £600,000 framework for Lincolnshire County Council, which will support its existing portfolio of work in the county.

The company is providing cutting services to maintain grass verges in towns throughout the Lincolnshire district, including Skegness, Mablethorpe and Horncastle.

The framework will be carried out over four years and has resulted in the creation of two permanent job opportunities and two seasonal roles.

Glendale already carries out general grounds maintenance in the area, providing services in parks, public gardens and open spaces for the neighbouring East Lindsey District Council.

Andy Ansell, Glendale’s regional director for the Midlands, said: “The new contract is a great addition to our growing portfolio in the Midlands, and it’s pleasing to see our plans for expansion in the region are going well.

“The work will boost the existing services provided by Glendale in the area which will be maintained to the highest standard, meaning local people can continue to enjoy and be proud of the places they live and work.”

Glendale is celebrating 25 years of service delivery.
