We are seeking to recruit a Parks Mobile Cleansing Operative to be part of a team responsible for every aspect of the cleansing operation in parks and open spaces.

Duties to include litter picking, emptying litter and dog waste bins, graffiti removal, sweeping of footways, leaf collection, cleaning of public toilets and changing rooms, as well as providing a visible presence in the parks and open spaces, this role will include daily public liaison as part of the role within parks and open spaces in the London Borough of Lewisham.

A full driving licence is essential for this role as well as experience of driving a Transit type van, experience of working in parks and open spaces undertaking cleansing operations is preferred.

You will need to be flexible, reliable and be prepared to work under your own initiative as the role will include working in a small team or at times as a lone worker.

The successful candidate will be required to work a 5 days a week including weekends on a rota.
