Glendale is a £50 million+ company delivering ‘green services’ throughout the UK. Activities include grounds management, landscaping, countryside and estates management, horticulture and arboriculture.

This a great opportunity to work in the prestigious Lee Valley Regional Park, covering 26 miles from Broxbourne through to the Olympic Park in Stratford, based in Waltham Abbey Depot, Essex, the successful applicant will be a proactive individual who is able to identify and implement service improvements, and support the operational teams in delivering a high quality service to our client.

You should have a demonstrable experience of leading groups or small teams; you will have a direct working relationship with the Parks Ranger Service and ensure that the quality of the park is maintained to the highest standards throughout the year.

The successful applicant will need to have good time management skills and the ability to work in a demanding environment. Enthusiasm, strong leadership skills and good communication skills are essential, as are a full driving license.

The ideal candidates will be flexible in style and thinking with an open, friendly personality. They will understand and subscribe to the importance of working as a team

Supervising up to 20 people and reporting directly to the Contract Manager shall enable the right applicant to grow into the position while learning and understanding the intricacies of the park.
