Arboricultural Manager – North Somerset

Glendale carries out a significant amount for arboriculture throughout Somerset, Bristol and South Gloucestershire from our office near Bristol Airport. We now require an experienced arboricultural manager to oversee and grow our business in the area.

Based at our Arboricultural Association Approved office, the successful candidate will be a proactive manager who will be able to offer sales, operational, financial and commercial management.

This is a hands on role involving meeting with clients and offering advice on all areas of tree management, pricing work, monitoring the progress of teams and taking quick and effective action to maintain high client satisfaction and margins. You will have full responsibility for the office orderbook so candidates with a strong local network and previous pricing experience will be at an advantage.

Qualifications and requirements

Candidate must hold a level 3/4 certificate in arboriculture with a minimum of 3 years management experience in a similar role and a driver’s licence. Ensuring all work meets quality and safety standards, whilst maintaining control of costs, programming and monitoring of work are all pivotal to the role. In addition, you will need good time management and administrative skills, display good people management and excellent communication skills.
